| Further comments | This is the first forefather of the
succesful line of business slide rules of Faber-Castell. It only has 7
scales, but already the characteristic that the upper scales are
centered around 1. The translation tables for English currency are
printed on the back: in later types they are changed into special
scales. This slide rule has an inch-scale on the bottom and a centimeter scale on the top. This particular specimen looks like it is nearly brand new. |
